A Grenache and Merlot Blend.

The Grenache was picked across three different sites throughout McLaren Vale, drifting southerly with the ripening fruit. Hand picked and fermented whole bunch with wild yeasts for 17 days on skins, then basket pressed into neutral oak for nine months.

Merlot from Blewitt Springs. Hand picked and whole bunch carbonic maceration for two weeks, then basket pressed into neutral oak for nine months. Blended with the grenache before bottling to add a little chocolate to the red berries.
